We had a great time. The cottage is very comfortable, and the location is perfect for trips into the Peak District, the city, or a stroll in the direct neighbourhood. Our stay was very comfortable for our 1.5 year old, too. Good to know that the ceiling in the kitchen and entry is a bit low - for us tall Dutch people anyway.

The house is delightful and in a perfect location - tranquil, green, VERY close to a great pub, and ideal for getting into Sheffield and escaping into the Peaks. Enjoyed the log burner, comfortable lounge and roomy kitchen. The separate staircases to the main bedrooms is great for two couples with the added privacy it gives. Only minor downsides: 9Read moream checkout is a bit of a pain. Showers could use curtains as hard to keep the water off the floor. Loved it though. Would definitely stay again. Hide

A fantastic location and cottage right out of the movie The Holiday. A roaring fire with actually two pubs within walking distance. Both great food and reasonably priced. Couldnt find Jude Law though?! Beautiful cottage & would definitely recommend.

Beautiful cottage, very clean and comfortable. There was ample space for two couples to stay here. We had a meal in The Cricket Inn which was a short walk away and the food was superb. Would recommend this for a relaxing away from it all break.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bents cottage. Located close to main roads for access to the Peak District but so peaceful. The cottage was very clean and cosy with all the facilities you could want to make it a home away from home. Ideal for 2 couples with the bedrooms accessed via two separate staircases and off-road parking for 2 midsize cars. We'Read morere so glad we chose to stay here and would gladly return. Hide

A beautifully renovated cottage, well equipped and superbly located, close to the city and just a few minutes into the Peak. The owner could not be more friendly and accommodating. The pub is close and serves good food, and the area is very quiet.
