This bright and spacious barn conversion provides exceptional accommodation for families and friends to enjoy a special occasion in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is tucked away down a private drive and surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet only a 300-metre walk into the centre of the village where you will find a village store and a cosy pub serving delicious homecooked food. Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists alike. There is a whole host of picturesque walks and cycle routes from the doorstep and The Nidderdale Way passes through the village. A footpath from the end of the lane will take you to Pateley Bridge (4 miles) which boasts a range of independent shops and cafes on its charming high street, which was once voted Britain's best! The popular spa town of Harrogate can be reached within 11 miles where you will find a wealth of attractions including Valley Gardens, the Turkish Baths and the Royal Hall, and the wonderful natural formations at Brimham Rocks are only 2 miles away.

Ascend the gravel drive, arrive at this fantastic stone barn conversion, and immerse yourself in the beautiful countryside surrounding. On entering, the cosiness of home comforts strikes you immediately with the warmth of the underfloor heating under your feet. The entrance hall provides the perfect place to leave coats and muddy boots after a day of exploring, before you step through to the main hub of the house, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Relax on the sofa with a glass of wine in hand and chat with the chef of the group whilst they rustle up a treat in the fully equipped kitchen. Settle down around the dining table to enjoy your feast and then partake in a board game or two with loved ones over a glass of your favourite tipple. Off the main living space, you will find the formal lounge, adorned with French doors which open out onto the terrace and flood the room with light. Cosy up in front of the Smart TV and watch a movie with the family on a rainy winter's eve. On the other side of the hallway, you will find a handy utility room and a shower room. When it is time to retire for the evening, head upstairs where you will have a choice of three beautiful bedrooms. The first is a super-king zip-and-link (which can be made up as twins on request) which benefits from an en-suite shower room. There is also a spacious twin, a lovely double, and a family bathroom to complete the interior.

Heading outside, you will find a large, enclosed garden surrounding the property with two patio areas and plenty of furniture. With a generous outdoor lawn space, there is plenty of room for the children to run about with their four-legged friends. The garden also benefits from a BBQ and a luxurious hot tub so you can relax amongst the bubbles and enjoy the splendid countryside views.

This is a lovely barn conversion. It has underfloor heating which was great for us as it was quite cool the week we were there. There is lots of space for everyone and lots of cupboards and equipment. The area is excellent for walking in the Nidderdale valley. We did a couple of walks from the door, no need to drive anywhere. Lovely house and scenery. Lack of essentials such as salt/pepper/sugar/cooking oil etc. So would have to do food shop to get those before coming. Hot tub/heating needed checking as werent on/working right when we got there. Overall enjoyed our stay but think those few details could make it perfect.
