Hayton near Pocklington has idyllic landscapes and a friendly atmosphere, it's a perfect escape for a relaxing break. Explore through its picturesque lanes, past lovely cottages, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. You can explore the historic city of York (15 miles), where the iconic York Minster (15.8 miles) and Jorvik Viking Centre (14 miles) offer insights into history. For nature lovers, the property is nestled in the Yorkshire Wolds providing scenic hikes and stunning views alternatively the Yorkshire Moors (29.6mls) could replicate. Locally, the Burnby Hall Gardens (2.5 miles) in Pocklington, with its beautiful water lilies, or try the Yorkshire Air Museum (10.5 miles).

Stepping inside the welcoming farmhouse, you're greeted by a spacious entrance hall. To your left, a large dining room awaits, which has a grand dining table and a charming feature fireplace. Continuing from the dining room, a spacious lounge offers wide views of the rural farm and is equipped with a Smart TV for entertainment. On the right side of the hallway, a generously sized, well-equipped kitchen, accompanied by a dining table and a breakfast bar with stools. Off from the hallway there is a comfortable accessible double bedroom that offers farm views and a shower room with WC. As you head up the stairs, you will find four further bedrooms and a separate WC. The main bedroom has two king-size beds and built-in wardrobes. In both double rooms, you'll discover comfort and surrounding farm views, and in the king-size room, there is an en-suite shower room, accompanied by a mirror equipped with Bluetooth capabilities. Completing the first floor is the family bathroom.

Outside there is plenty of space to enjoy the landscape, and peaceful area. Surrounded by the farm, you can enjoy a bar and party room, a hot tub, and a summer house, along with an adequate seating area on the patio. The little ones will love the wendy house, with its own pretend vets area and many toys to chose to play with. The garden surrounds the house and there's plenty of space to roam around and explore whilst enjoying the amazing views.

We booked as a family of 10, 6 adults and 4 children to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. The photos dont prepare you for the wow factor when you walk through the door! We had a fantastic stay over the Christmas period. The owners really went above and beyond with baskets of treats for the adults, sweets for the kids and decorations everywhere. The house and grounds were more than big enough for a party of 12 with two dogs. Absolutely amazing place. Was greeted on arrival and showed around the house, they left some treats for us as well. The place was lovely and clean and decorated with numerous Christmas decorations which made it feel so homely. All of the bedrooms were a delight and the mattresses so comfy. Beautiful property, we all had a great time visiting. Definitely recommend the owners were welcoming and treated us with sweets for the kiddies, treats for the dogs, and wine (so made a great first impression) the house is beautiful inside & out

We really enjoyed our stay at Holly Tree Farm. It is a well presented large rural house with a large hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped and beds were comfortable. Some areas (e.g. upstairs shower/bathroom) could do with an update but we otherwise couldn't fault our stay. Is down a farm track so feels remote but there is a nice Chinese restauranRead moret within 10 mins walking distance and the local small town is around a 10 min drive away. Easy, friendly communication with the owners. We'll be back! Hide
