Nestled in a quiet spot amongst farmland in the North York Moors National Park, this barn conversion is brimming with character and boasts lovely views and a private hot tub. Escape the hustle and bustle with your group of four and enjoy meandering the countryside or visiting the Yorkshire coastline.

Upon entering this property, you will find a handy porch where you can hang up your coats and place your walking boots before heading through to create culinary delights in the practical kitchen/diner. This characterful space has a beamed ceiling and wooden floors, with everything you need to cook up a storm. A four-seater dining table and a seating area with sofas are also situated here. Once you are ready for some rest, settle down in the stone-flagged lounge, where there are comfortable sofas and a Smart TV. A king-size bedroom with Smart TV and a Jack-and-Jill shower room complete the ground floor. Heading upstairs, you will find a further bedroom with a super-king-size bed, Smart TV, and an en-suite bathroom. Outside to the front of the property is a courtyard, shared with the neighbouring property, and a giant chess set for you to enjoy. To the rear, you will have your own private garden with a lawn, a patio area, and a spacious hot tub.

Head off on foot or bike and get back to nature enjoying the surrounding moorland. There are tonnes of trails and routes leading through the park, and you will come across plenty of historic landmarks. The little fishing village of Robin Hoods Bay is 3.5 miles from here and has a couple of shops and eateries, as well as a shingle beach. The bustling seaside resort of Whitby can be reached in 7 miles and is home to a range of amenities and museums.

Fantastic stay for our family. 2 adults, one teenager and 2 dogs. Everything on the doorstep for us. Shops, restaurants, beaches and walks. Hope to book again soon.

An amazing property in a beautiful setting ideal for visiting Whitby and surrounding areas. So peaceful, the property was warm and cosy with everything you need and more. The owners were very helpful and attentive, loved the little extras on arrival very thoughtful and enjoyed by the whole family. Hot tub was fabulous and very pet friendly with a vRead moreery spacious and well secured garden with views to die for. Will definitely be returning and showing to my travelling friends, certainly had the wow factor. Hide

one point is for use of kitchen appliances a simple set of instructions would be handy the dishwasher is missing top runner drawer stops simple fix, your communication all in is very good the cottage is great and we would come at a drop of a hat thanks.

We had such a warm welcome to the property, the wine and home baked goods were a lovely touch. The property was tastefully decorated and well equipped. It was wonderfully warm inside. We were surrounded by thick snow whilst sat in the hot tub. The sea views were a bonus. Perfectly located for visits to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. The property on the whole was lovely. The living room was comfortable and relaxing and the the hot tub was a welcome addition. The owners also provided milk, scones, jam, clotted cream and a bottle of wine which was very kind. The area is beautiful and so easily accessible for many nearby beaches and attractions. Unfortunately upon turning on the TRead moreV in the downstairs bedroom we found the screen had been damaged prior to our stay and so we could not watch TV in bed. Not a huge issue but we would have liked to use it as we dont have a TV in our room at home and it would have been lovely for a lazy morning in bed with a cuppa whilst on a break. There was also a large amount of flies within the property on arrival and we struggled to get them out. We of course understand the property is on a farm so there will be many around, but perhaps some fly screens or a fly zapper of some kind could be fitted to help. Some of the kitchen utensils could do with replacing. The cheese grater was rusty and there were dead spiders within a jug in a cupboard. Overall though a lovely home from home in a beautiful location. Hide
