A secluded rural retreat in the heart of Swaledale, this stunning 19th-century residence has been beautifully updated to provide fantastic holiday accommodation for larger families and groups of friends exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Elegantly furnished and decorated in a warm, traditional style, the triple-level house has ample space for 16 guests, with a range of beautiful features including open fires, wooden beams, window seats, roll-top baths, a four-poster bed and glorious rural views across the surrounding dales. Situated in generous, tranquil grounds, this wonderful property makes a fabulous getaway for reunions and special occasions, and a great base for discovering the area’s spellbinding countryside.

The property has a traditional lounge with sumptuous sofas, wooden flooring, superb country views and an ornate marble fireplace, providing a great space to sit back and watch a movie. The sweet snug has an open fire, beamed ceiling and a piano, while the handsome dining area is perfect for family occasions. There’s a stylishly arranged kitchen with a breakfast table, alongside a boot room and wet room. The first and second floors offer three bathrooms and a choice of eight beautiful bedrooms, one with a gorgeous four-poster bed, several with en-suite facilities, window seats and fantastic views. Outside, the extensive grounds feature beautiful split-level lawns, footpaths to the river and an enclosed field for exercising pets. There are three lovely furnished patio areas, perfect for enjoying a BBQ or for taking a relaxing dip in the hot tub as you enjoy the amazing views over the Yorkshire Dales.

A haven for walkers and cyclists, the property is ideally situated for discovering the breathtaking sights of the north-eastern corner of the Yorkshire Dales. Local attractions include Middleham Castle, The Forbidden Corner, Harmby Waterfall and the friendly market towns of Hawes and Leyburn, all within 15 miles.

This is a beautiful house in a splendid location and was a wonderful venue for a weekend with friends to celebrate our birthdays.

A gorgeous country course with stunning views, and so comfortable. Perfect for a celebration weekend for 4 generations of our family, plus the dog!

The cottage was very well equipped, the heating and showers were first rate! definitely one of the best cottages we have rented in the past 20 year. The location was perfect for walking and the pub nearby was popular! We hope to visit again in the future.

A beautiful property in an excellent location. This was perfect for a friends get together. Facilities are perfect for a rural getaway. The Punch Bowl Inn nearby was also ideal for a meal out.

Would highly recommend this beautiful home, we visited for my dad's 80th birthday and it suited all of our needs, the host was more than happy to meet our requests and the view was fabulous! I will definitely visit again.
