For mountain walkers, mighty Ingleborough is 4 miles outside of the village, while Whernside is a little further (7.5 miles). These, along with Pen-y-Ghent (12.5 miles), make up the Three Peaks, a challenging yet rewarding hike for visitors with a love of the great outdoors.
