Description

Weavers Cottage is one of three delightful cottages converted from an original weaver's barn once owned by the Bronte sisters, situated on the hills above the small village of Cowling. With tremendous panoramic views over the surrounding open countryside they enjoy a peaceful situation. A shared south-facing patio with garden furniture and barbeque makes the most of the views and an adjoining enclosed grassed area provides a safe play area for children. There is a shared laundry room, and a lockable barn provides secure cycle storage.

There are some excellent walks from the farm itself, over the rolling hills and the Pennine Way National Trail passes through the surrounding farmland. The ancient market town of Skipton is just nine miles away and Haworth, the home of the Bronte sisters is ten miles.  The Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland and the city of York are within easy reach.

Comfortably and tastefully furnished to a very high standard, this cottage has retained much of the traditional charm of the original barn with stone slab window ledges and beamed ceilings.

Reviews

Lovely little cottage with great facilities in a beautiful location.

Mrs Lorna B,

Looked like a new rental but it was several years old. Very well looked after and very welcoming. Great field opposite to exercise the dog and plenty of parking. Well worth a visit.

Past Customer,

An excellent property in quiet location. Everything was of the highest quality. Lovely comfortable beds. We really appreciated the thoughtful extras; tea, coffee and a pint of milk after a very long journey. I can't speak highly enough of this holiday cottage, would certainly recommend to friends.

Mrs Sue O,
