Description

Weavers View is one of three delightful cottages converted from an original weaver's barn once owned by the Bronte sisters, situated on the hills above the small village of Cowling.  With tremendous panoramic views over the surrounding open countryside they enjoy a peaceful situation. A shared south-facing patio with garden furniture and barbeque makes the most of the views and an adjoining enclosed grassed area provides a safe play area for children. There is a shared laundry room, and a lockable barn provides secure cycle storage.

There are some excellent walks from the farm itself, over the rolling hills and the Pennine Way National Trail passes through the surrounding farmland. The ancient market town of Skipton is just nine miles away and Haworth, the home of the Bronte sisters is ten miles.  The Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland and the city of York are within easy reach.

Comfortably and tastefully furnished to a very high standard, this cottage has been designed for guests with limited mobility with a ground floor bedroom and wet room equipped for disabled visitors.

Reviews

We had a lovely week in Weaver’s View, Cowling. It was good to come back to a very nice, well-equipped and cosy cottage each day.

Mr S Woodger,

Excellent cottage could not have asked for better, would highly recommend.

Mr John Sadler,

Lovely clean brilliant location cottage and spacious! Can't fault it and would thoroughly recommend. Perfect for our two families and despite heavy rain and sunshine found it really easy to find things to do to entertain three teenagers! Top recommendations would be: Ingleton Waterfalls, Skipton (shops galore for rainy day and some accept dogs, also dog friendly cafes and most people own dogs), and penine way locally.

Ms Umarani Kasiviswanathan,

Excellent - speaks for itself

Mr F Vaughan,

Spotless cottage, beautifully decorated and furnished. Kitchen was well-equipped. Ample parking. Beautiful location with fabulous views. Hosts were very friendly, approachable and helpful.

Mrs Sandie Heyworth,

Location is exceptional and it was well suited to the trips into the Dales that we both enjoy. Wharfedale. Wensleydale and Swaledale being the ones we love.

Mr Timothy Clancy,
