Description

The Old Dairy is set in the small village of Helperthorpe nestled in the Great Wold Valley, on the edge of the Vale of York. Having been converted from 200 year old farm buildings, and retaining some of the original features, this is a cosy cottage filled with character. The master bedroom has an elegant 4 poster bed and a private patio provides secluded outdoor space for relaxing. The setting is very peaceful and an ideal base for walking and cycling and visiting the surrounding area.

Take a pleasant stroll (just under a mile) to Weaverthorpe where you will find two public houses, both serving good food and a cafe/shop. Within half an hour you can be at the coast, North York Moors, the market towns of Pickering (Steam Railway), Malton (Farmers Markets) and Beverley (Minster). Popular local attractions include; R.S.P.B. Bird Sanctuary Bempton, Eden Camp War Museum, Castle Howard, Flamingoland.
