Area Information

Cayton
Situated just 4 miles from the bustling seaside resort of Scarborough, Cayton is the perfect location for a break by the sea. The popular bay here is a haven for surfers because of its great waves and clean water, and along the cliff tops you'll find a surf shop and car park. The beach here is dog-friendly all year round, making it a popular destination for those holidaying with their furry friends. Bird-watching and fossil-hunting are also popular pastimes in the Bay, the area's unspoilt beauty has meant that many varieties of wildlife now call Cayton Bay their home and if you're lucky you may stumble upon a million year old Gastropod, or perhaps an ammonite while strolling the sands.
