Lovely cottage close to the seafront and within a short distance of all major routesWe loved staying in this cottage, it was close location to the sea front and harbour. Short distance to all major roads. The cottage was clean and cosy. There are five floors with stairs to each floor so may not be ideal for very small children or elderly holidaymakers. Parking was on street outside. The road was narrow with limited parking, but we managed to park every day upon return from our days out with no problem. Walk down to beach/harbour took about 10 minutes. It is up a hill with steps so this needs to be taken into account if walking. The Harbour Bar is a must if you like ice cream. Amazing sundeas. We did not encounter any problems during our stay and would definitely stay again
Excellent stay at Launchers Cottage. The 4 members of our party really enjoyed our stay. Everything you could possibly need for a week away was provided. The cottage was immaculately clean. In a quiet street away from the front although a bit hilly going into town.and back. The little courtyard was excellent to sit out for a meal a suntrap
Great Autumn Half-Term Break The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped for a family with three teenagers. A very comfortable stay and our concerns about parking during half-term were unfounded, we were always able to park in front of the cottage
A perfect Scarborough holiday home Another lovely stay here. The house is a small traditional terrace, perfectly clean and well equipped and plenty of room for our family of five. The modern decor and thoughtful touches make for an enjoyable stay. The house is located a short walk from the old town and south beach, it’s a 15 min walk into the town centre and the north side beach is also a longer walk or a short drive. So, location wise it’s perfect. We will be back, many thanks
Review of Launchers cottage The cottage was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Well situated in a quiet street with easy access to both the north and south sides of Scarborough. We were very impressed with the speed that on ringing the owners of the cottage, as a light bulb fused all the lights, they organised their handyman to come and sort the problem within half an hour. he even put the dustbin out for us.We would highly recommend this cottage to other holidaymakers
Summer Holiday Property is in perfect location for the sea front and going up into town. It is well maintained and looked after. Only issue is parking due to narrow streets but this is very minor. All the rooms are well sized. Kitchen is fully fitted, This is the second time we have stopped and loved it. It was a good base to start a bike ride. If you love walking and scenic views, this is the place to be
Lovely little cottage.Nice little cottage however not suitable for those with mobility problems as climb up to cottage from seafront is particularly hard up some steep steps and steepness of stairs inside cottage may pose problematic although we managed. Once inside the cottage is very well equipped and comfortable and very clean. Views from top bedroom really nice
Scarborough is an all year round destination, with its busy fishing harbour and marina a hub of excitement whatever the weather. Scarborough Castle is set in a stunning location and offers visitors panoramic views over the dramatic coastline. The 2,500-year old building is a must see for anyone visiting the area, and a wonderful day out for everyone.
There's so much to see and do during the day in this lovely seaside town, but also plenty of places to relax and unwind in the evening, including many bars and eateries along the seafront.
