We enjoyed a lovely pre Christmas short break despite the weather! The cottage was very well prepared, warm, comfortable and well equipped. The views were spectacular and the cottage was within walking distance to Hawes. Parking was not a problem with space off road outside of the cottage.

A lovely cottage in a good position for Hawes, though walking down the road to the village was a bit hairy on some occasions - especially when it was raining (which, sadly, was often!). We guess the bed size is restricted by what can easily be carried up the v steep stairs - we found the bed a bit small. Overall a great cottage with fabulous viewsRead more and everything necessary for a holiday - particularly a walking holiday. We never got to use the sitting out area, sadly, but we were very grateful for the electric towel rail and radiators which we had to use because of the unusually wet and cold weather. We were also very pleased that the cottage is dog free. Would recommend :-) Hide

We thought the cottage was lovely, though there was a bit of mould and some dead woodlice this was probably due to the nature of the property. Otherwise it was very comfortable and a great base for our holiday.

Excellent location. Great for what we wanted; hillwalking and a centre for that and that had shops, pubs close by. The kitchen would benefit from having some oven gloves!

The cottage was perfect! Such a fabulous location with fantastic views yet only minutes from pubs, cafes etc. So many walks right from the door - we only used the car twice to go a little further afield for walking. It was always a joy to return to such a comfortable and well equipped base as Three Halfway Houses. Thank you.

Lovely holiday cottage in a stunning location, short walk into Hawes. The views from every window in the property were outstanding. There is not a garden and parking is on the road side so careful when getting children in and out of the car and cottage!! Would highly recommend, just beautiful location.

A well equiped cottage in a lovely walking area with good walks from the door and lots of interest in nearby Hawes. The only drawback was pulling out from the parking onto a bendy road, but his was made clear in the details
