Discover the lounge/kitchen/diner is a generous, airy room, with a high vaulted ceiling and exposed stone wall. Settle in here in the evening to watch TV together, whip up hearty feasts and sit down to enjoy lively holiday meals. There is a single sofa bed up here that can be used for sleeping by prior agreement. One of your bedrooms, a single, is also up here, together with the family bathroom. Follow the internal staircase down to the ground floor to discover another single bedroom, along with a double, a twin and the family bathroom. Shared laundry facilities are in an outbuilding. Have dinner out on your private patio on summer evenings and stay out here chatting as the sun sets. There is plenty of parking at this cottage.
Venture into Ingleton to buy snacks and drinks before you begin the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Ingleton, Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside are all within 12 miles of the village. You can also follow the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail from here. This is just over 3 miles long and passes through picturesque countryside, with many waterfalls. Ingleborough Cave is 5.5 miles from Ingleton and then involves a walk of 0.5 miles, including its magical underground section.
