Enjoy a relaxing stay with your family or friends at this holiday home near Little Bentham, close to the Yorkshire Dales. Sleeping five people, the three-bedroom stone retreat is 3.5 miles from Ingleton and the start of the Yorkshire Dales. Nestling in 6 acres of its own land, it welcomes dogs, has a private patio and is in an excellent location for long walks and cycle rides.
Wander inside at ground-floor level to find an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you can gather after your outings. Make cups of tea in here, take turns at cooking and pull a chair up to the table when your meals or refreshments are ready. Choose a book from shelf over in the lounge area then enjoy a few quiet moments. You can also play games and switch on the TV or watch a DVD. One of your bedrooms, a double, which has an en-suite shower room, is also down here. Make your way up to the first floor to find the remaining two bedrooms. These include a twin and a single. The family bathroom is also at this level. Shared laundry facilities are in a separate building. Enjoy the fresh air on the patio during the warmer months. Have coffee out here on fine mornings. There is private parking at this property.
Head into Ingleton to stock up on local produce and dine out whenever you don’t feel like cooking. Follow the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, which is just over 3 miles long and will take you past some magical scenery, including lots of waterfalls. Keen hikers and climbers might also like to attempt the Yorkshire Three Peaks: Ingleborough, Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside, which are just outside the village. Also explore the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which begins 1 mile from the cottage.
