Property code: OC-DS901

Situated along the scenic Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, this glorious little cottage provides characterful accommodation in an idyllic setting. Spend your trip trekking or cycling through the unspoilt hills and valleys of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, then returns to your cosy retreat for quiet evenings in by the wood burner. You’ll be 1.5 miles from traditional pubs and shops in Ingleton, perfect for exploring with your fellow guests. The house is tucked away in a tiny hamlet called Twisleton, down a 0.5-mile gated road for a real sense of privacy. With space for up to three guests, it’s fantastic for a small family or a couple keen to get away from it all.

You’ll enter the stone cottage directly into the kitchen/diner, a farmhouse-style space with a wooden dining table for breakfasts and dinners. As you walk around, you’ll notice a number of rustic features, such as stone window surrounds, window seats and lots of wooden accents. In the adjacent lounge, relax into your favourite TV show or pick out a book from the bookshelf for a quiet moment with a hot cuppa. The charming enclosed garden is a wonderful space to relax with morning coffee as you absorb the impressive views and breathe in that fresh Yorkshire air.

We recommend checking out the Waterfalls Trail, a 4-mile circular route passing along rivers and through ancient woodlands – great for a scenic afternoon out. The views are truly wonderful, so don’t forget your camera! White Scar Cove (2 miles) is an Ice Age cavern filled with mud pools and stalactites, well worth exploring. If you’re doing the Three Peaks Challenge, this property is the ideal spot to stay, with all three mountains within 12 miles of your front door.
