Great to be back at Fellside. Fab time as always- walks, pubs happy days. I'm sure we will be back. Thanks!
OMG what an amazing house. If only we could pick it up and take it home! We had a lovely time here and would definitely recommend it.
Lovely stay in a beautiful cottage. Thank you very much!
Wow what a beautiful cottage. Had a great time. Everyone loved it.
We have all so enjoyed our stay in this comfortable place. We felt immediately at home. It is ideally situated with the babbling brook and access to children's playground. The surroundings are beautiful... Kettlewell is so picturesque!
WOW! A stunning cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage is warm, comfortable and well kitted out. By far one of the best we have ever stayed in! Great walk from Burnsall to Grassington, and also Kettlewell to Buckden. We will be back! Thank you.
We had a great short break in your splendid cottage. Many thanks for providing such a comfortable place to stay.
With it's limestone terraces, the little village of Kettlewell is full of charm and is the ideal base for touring the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The village is popular with walkers, with some of the best walks in the Dales to be found in the area, from gentle riverside strolls to exploring quiet country lanes. The village is known for its farming of Swaledale Sheep as well as having provided the backdrop for the village of Knapely in the popular film, Calendar Girls. The hills surrounding Kettlewell are dotted with old mine shafts, with much of the village's housing created as homes for miners. By the 19th century, Kettlewells mines had closed with tourism now being the village's main industry. There are two pubs in the village (both serving good food), two tea rooms (one of which also doubles as a bistro in the evenings!), and a village shop. A bus route connects you to the nearby towns and villages of Skipton, Grassington and Buckden. A scarecrow festival is held in the village every August.
