This attractive two-bedroom property in the village of Finghall, just outside Leyburn, has plenty of elegance and charm. Located in the Yorkshire Dales, it’s the perfect holiday getaway for a couple or set of friends plus two dogs wanting relaxation, tranquillity, and countryside walks.

Distributed over one floor, all the rooms have a simple, luxurious vibe with pretty hare ornaments dotted around the open-plan living room. After a day exploring the Dales, pour yourself a drink and unwind on the plump sofas in the lounge. It’s the perfect spot to relax with its beamed ceiling, cosy wood burner, and floor-to-ceiling French windows that offer up stunning valley views. A well-equipped kitchen overlooks the lounge so you can enjoy those valley views while rustling up a meal and then serving it at the neat table seating four people. The two bedrooms are situated off from the living area and feature a super-king bed and a king-size bed. Both rooms are beautifully presented with neat furnishings and huge windows so you can enjoy the sublime views from the comfort of your bed. They also have en-suite bathrooms. Outside there’s a pretty garden with a patio, tidy lawn, and more uninterrupted countryside views. Enjoy breakfast at the outdoor table while gazing at the endless fields and in the evening watch the sunset from the private hot tub.

The Dales offer plenty of walking and cycling trails straight from the door and after a long day be sure to stop for a drink and a meal at the friendly village pub. Also worth a visit is Leyburn (4.5 miles). A vibrant town, it’s packed with local shops and inns serving home-cooked food. In Leyburn, you can also jump on a heritage diesel train and enjoy afternoon tea while soaking up the Dale scenery from your carriage.

Beautiful cottage with everything you needed and more. Had fun in the hot tub looking out over the amazing views. Super comfortable beds and lovely welcome pack. We had a really great week away and would recommend using this company to book a Yorkshire holiday, their communication and information was first class.

Watching the sunset over the picturesque view from our patio was a highlight. The cottage was spotlessly clean, cosy and a real home from home. A very quiet and restful holiday in beautiful surroundings.

A fabulous cottage with an exceptionally escape proof garden for dogs. Super views and several great eating places locally. The owners have included so many little extras to make a great holiday
