Wonderful Cottage- Thank you. Fountains Abbey well worth a visit as are Ingleton Falls and Aysgarth . Great walks around Muker and Keld.
Another enjoyable fortnight in Witton View. Came up for the UCi World Cycling and do some cycling in the Dales. The Old Black Swan in Bedale is recommended for Sunday lunch
A lovely cottage in a beautiful area, just right for plenty of walking. Had some good weather much to our surprise. Food at the Sandpiper and the Saffron in Leyburn Highly recommended.
Lovely cottage very comfortable. A great area, weather not good this time !, but a beautiful part of the country. Ripon Minster walk well worth a visit, as is Richmond Georgian Theatre. Loved Kiplin Hall a gem missed it on previous visits to this glorious county.
Superb cottage, very well equipped in beautiful location. Highly recommended.
Lovely cottage in a nice, quiet location with a lot of small things thought of which made the visit go very well. Was lovely to catch with old family and friends in the area. We had a wonderful time so thank you very much.
We were extremely happy with the location & the facilities. Hope to rent Witton View again in the near future.
Lovely cottage in a beautiful area
What a lovely place you have made comfortable and well maintained. In beautiful surroundings. Enjoyed it and would highly recommend it - Carole & Michael Owen (Melbourne, Australia)
Lovely cottage which we would recommend.
We have been here for four days and fallen in love with the cottage. We will be recommending it to our friends at home. Only a quick drive from many fabulous walks, could not fault it. Really cosy and welcoming. We will definitely be coming again.
Enjoyed our stay in your beautiful cottage. The owners should be very proud of what they have achieved. Thank you.
JUST BRILLIANT!! Great food at The Crown Tavern, Richmond.
Really enjoyed our 2 weeks in the Dales and this cottage was superbly comfortable and well equipped. Hope to return next year.
Beautiful cottage. We came to completely chill out and that is what we got. Cottage is well equipped and very cosy.
What can I say...had a fabulous week in your gorgeous cottage. We needed to relax after moving out of our house and this has been just perfect. The bed in the main bedroom is just so comfortable.
Witton View is situated in Bellerby, a pretty village in the northern area of the Yorkshire Dales. There is a pub which serves food within an easy walk. The village is just a couple of miles from the popular market town of Leyburn. Here you will find a good range of shops, pubs, restaurants and tearooms, and the weekly market is on Friday. The nearby towns of Hawes, Richmond and Bedale are all within an easy drive and can also be reached by bus. For some great days out, there are many excellent attractions in the area including the Wensleydale Railway, Leyburn Tea Pottery, the Forbidden Corner, and the waterfalls at Aysgarth Falls. For those who enjoy walking, the Leyburn Shawl is easily reached and provides excellent views of the Dales.
