Excellent cottage, very well presented. My wife and I both agree we wished we lived there. The silence was brilliant.
One of the best presented and equipped cottages we have had
A delightful cottage in the countryside. Ideal base for visiting North Yorkshire.
Excellent location if you like peace and quiet, (as long as you don't mind a few ducks quacking) wonderful view from front of property. Pity there is no Phone signal. Very good, would go again.
Another lovely week at The Calf Pens. Nice relaxing Christmas. Cottage just as we remembered, comfortable and welcoming.
A lovely cosycottage. Thank you for the welcome pack. We loved listening to the chattering ducks and the rest of the wildlife. This is our 7th time to the Masham area, the first time to The Calf Pens. Would love to return.
Probably the best cottage ever rented.
Thanks for the use of your lovely cottage. had a great week walking. High light of the week - walking to Masham by the river and having 5 sightings of Kingfishers.
Thank you for this great week at Calf Pens. The house is superb and well equipped. we loved all the animals. we loved The Dales and your place.
What lucky ducks to live here! Had a lovely week and some brilliant bike rides. Well thought out and equipped cottage. loved watching all the animals.
Have had a fantastic week, great accommodation, also some very good walks.looking forward to coming back for our third visit next year!
Great cottage. We had forgotten how peaceful the countryside is. Ideal place to recharge our old batteries
A very enjoyable third stay at Calf Pens, good Sunday lunch at Golden Lion Leyburn. Thanks Prue for welcome provisions, much appreciated hope to see you again next year
Wonderful second stay at the calf pens. So much to do and see, and a huge thank to Prue for such a welcome
Lost count of how many times we have stayed here. Needless to say - we love it.
