perfect cottage with excellent location only 5 mins walk to the high street with lots of restaurants and excellent pubs. Very clean good beds and linen and kitchen high specas was the bathroom. All in all would not hesitate to return or recommend to friends and family.
I thoroughly enjoyed my vacation at Lorna Loom together with my daughters. I would really like to make it a yearly tradition. The apartment was spotless and we were particularly pleased to find the shower so clean and shining :) I apologize for leaving food packed in the refridgerator but we couldn't take it with us and we hoped whoever was going to clean might be able to use it. Thank you once again for a wonderful vacation!
The property was lovely - comfortable, clean and well located.
Skipton is a market town located on the course of the River Aire and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal to the south of the Yorkshire Dales. Skipton is able to boast Skipton Castle, constructed in 1090. Skipton became a prosperous market town, trading sheep and woollen goods and still has a cobbled street, Sheep Street. The town provides an ideal base for a walking trip and is close enough to the Dales and the Lakes for days out.
There's always something happening in the area, with festivals and fairs are held throughout the year. For more information on Skipton and the surrounding area and local events see our Yorkshire Dales Guide and the Festivals & Events Guide.
